Practicing patent and trademark law since 1991 in the DFW metroplex.  Services have included patent and trademark prosecution, patent searches, trademark searches, preparation of opinions regarding patent novelty, validity and infringement, evaluating the scope of patent claims prior to purchase of patent rights, and drafting patent license agreements. 

Primary focus on drafting and prosecuting patent applications.  Client counseling regarding patent, trademark and copyright matters, including protection of intellectual property rights, infringement and validity, enforcement of rights, damages, and negotiating license agreements.

Graduate of University of Texas School of Law, Austin, Texas, Juris Doctor, 1991, and Texas A & M University, College Station, Texas, B.S. Mechanical Engineering, 1979. 

Prior to entering law school, worked for 9 years as an engineer in oil field services, and electronics manufacturing and assembly industries, including defense electronics.
